Why would you want them to be found not guilty? You can't grab your guns and hop on a truck trying to be the police, the judge, the jury and the executioner all at the same time. This is why there is the law of the land. If someone is not a threat you do not chase him down with big trucks and guns and provoke him.

Bingo. And justified. These stupid blacks and protesters don't understand how our justice system works cause they've never been to law school or read a book in their lives. There's a good video going around on youtube of a black lawyer from Georgia and a former cop explaining why they are innocent and will be acquitted. It's really good. He goes point by point through the video evidence and cites Georgia statutes that explain why they will be acquitted. It's very poignant and too articulate for the stupid black protesters to understand. Case closed.

I dont know GA law but the grand jury has to decide if they can pursue those charges. I dont know if a jury at trial can convict on an uncharged affair

Actually, a district attorney can file charges without a grand jury. A grand jury is not required in every case if the DA believes there is enogh evidence to to bring charges.

I'm not an attorney but I've been in serious trouble with the law and it did not go through a grand jury. I'm not sure if the laws in every state are the same.

You're correct that many States streamlined their legal system, but as per the facts of this case, we see GA is pretty antiquated with its Law and Order statutes.

I think the "jogging" angle might win the day, despite the indeterminacy of whether he was "in his neighborhood" or 20 miles away. The "who jogs with work boots" question will fall on the jury's deaf ears.

I'm aware of the "gamblers' fallacy" of past events having no bearing on the current event, but with the acquittal of Zimmerman and the police officer who shot "the gentle giant", I think layin the -340 would be the way to go.
