#3Yes but hard to know when he is actually live. Think he does 8-10 new shows a month. Show is still funny even if he has become a bit tame.
Less Brent, Benjy and Memet. More Ronnie and JDComment -

#4Yea i still listen all week. He only does shows Mon, Tues, Wed for 4 hours. He does take a lot of vacations through out the year. The screen on my car radio says when it's live. Ya he's a lot different than the 90s but he's gotten older, more mature and so is his fan base. I'm only 32 but i enjoy listening to him and his interviews are spot on. I just got his new book for christmas and i'm excited to dive into it.Comment -

#8definitely changed his reputation by going to satellite.
very surprised he has not retired yet. given he only does 3 new shows a week for a total of 112 shows for the salary he gets i can see his side but the show is definitely not the same as i remember as a kid. feel a lot of skits and discussions are repetitive.
completely tired of the cleaning out the computer days.Comment -

#9Tom Bernard same in MN. Guy with hundreds of millions and still does it and a pod cast.
Remember when Stern entered Minnesota market and couldn't get a 5 share versus Bernard dominate ratings.
Might be only market Stern flopped inComment -

#12Reupped my Sirius membership w/o Howie Hamptons. The constant abuse of his staff or criticizing anything that he doesn't enjoy (vinyl records, drinking, etc..) makes me want to to turn the station and I soon realized I was no longer listening to Sirius just for Stern. As a matter of fact, I wasn't even tuning him in at all.
His only redeeming feature is his ability to conduct a compelling interview but he has a leg up on his colleagues because of the reputation that precedes him. Celebs understand what they are potentially getting into which allows a more direct, personal, and freewheeling discussion. I have, however, noticed that he doesn't get nearly as many A-Listers since he left AGT. That was an ideal vehicle to mainstream him, removing some of the sting off of his shock jock reputation.Comment -

#15very well said. when he makes fun of richard for liking the chiefs or like you said gary with vinyl or someone playing video games i get so annoyed. it's like he thinks he is god. even if it is schtick it is annoying as hell. his a-list draw power really sunk without AGT. he is not mainstream enough anymore to be recognized by many.Comment -
