if your child age 10 and up hasn't seen this 1983 release (and who hasn't) I suggest you watch it with him/her. This movie is almost 37 years old and it still is great. It became almost an instant Christmas classic. I watched it again last night for the first time in over 30 years and still laughed. It is comical and hits the button on the truth of the season.
it certainly doesn't reach the heights of one of the original A Christmas Carol, but it is very entertaining. IMO
