Get a Tenant Screening Report...a little more detailed type of credit report.

I don't think it shows up on basic credit history unless there is a judgement.

Use a search engine Demon, there are likely a ton of options that will come up on google.

I'm just not sure if any of them have bs costs to them.

You can always go directlyto the courthouse for the records too, to see if an unlawful detainer is on file.

There are a lot of sites that will look up your records for you, including criminal, eviction, bankrupts, and all kinds of information which is basically part of the pubic record. How long ago did this alleged eviction occur?

It doesn't show up on credit karma or
Start a People, Property or Phone Record search. Gain access to accurate and detailed reports for any name, address or phone number in minutes.

Was I think 5 years ago.

Know any site that offers tenant screening report? I tried one that it didn't show up on.

            Credit agencies will do them.

            Experian will...

Access rental credit checks and tenant insights with Experian. We’ll help streamline rental processes, make informed decisions and build trust.

I'm sure you can get one on yourself.

If Experian doesn't see it, I doubt the other agencies have on file, you're probably good to go.

                    Rentpro. Experian connect.

An eviction will show up on your public record on your credit report. If it doesn’t show up you’re fine

Depending on the city you were evicted in, it could have been removed. Also a public record check is supposed to be on your credit report for 10 years. I’ll check website as I believe was switched to another company

Personally and as having a rental myself you’re better off mentioning this from the start. Maybe say you lost your job or had health issues, etc. offer an extra month of security to sweeten the pot.

Thanks man I appreciate it. They said if I have an eviction it's automatic denial but I'm thinking it might be gone now since it's not on credit karma anymore. Problem is I wish I could use the same system they use to check before I go apply. I just wish I knew if it was there before I applied.

Even creditkarma would show if you had a public record so you should be all good

                            good luck with the move
