What an insane rollercoaster ride of a movie. Adam Sandler puts in a performance of a lifetime and Kevin Garnett did a great job as well. Sandler is the biggest degenerate chasing losses the entire movie dodging one bullet after the next. It is already out in nyc and other select markets, but for most it comes out Christmas Day I believe. Go see it and let me know what you think.

But he is more like worm on steroids. Rounders is 100% the best poker movie and in my top 10 favorite movies period but it’s hard to compare to uncut gems. I’m going back to see it again soon.Comment -
definitely looks like a good gambling movie.
rounders is/was awesome. i can watch that anytime. i like when they show the taj now and how it used to look from the outside as a nod to history.
i like "let it ride" as a good natured horse racing gambling movie too.Comment -
OLD, but "The Sting" will always be up the list.
Haven't seen the movie but the books about Stu Unger and Mike Matisau (sp) are fun reads.
Grifters and Matchstick Men are also worth a look.Comment -

Had a poker player tell me to watch "California Split" from 1974, said it was like a Pulp Fiction version of a poker movie.
I don't know that I'd say that, but it had its moments. Worth a watch.Comment
