As for the 'racial' posts, we have a couple of members that
Occasionally post racist things directed towards Caucasians and we allow it.
As long as none if it is too over the top.

JJ posts racist things about black people as a whole. Some of them are the most typical ignorant views where he generalizes a culture that not everyone is like. His comments are the type that would give the negative attention not some harmless swearing. Unless you guys are saying racist comments are ok which I would think would be not a great substitute for swearing. Power post or not no one should be above that.

I’m educated and collected and love to use strong discerning language. Doesn’t show any less discipline or vocabulary. Taking time out to question something that has nothing to do with an argument, such as someone’s intelligence based off their vocabulary or threatening to “find out where someone lives”, when it has nothing to do with anything here does.

Not "Intelligence based of vocabulary" but vocabulary in general. Maybe I'm painting with a broad brush but most that use foul language excessively have very little vocabulary.

for years I have been working on toning down my language.

I’m getting better but I lose my temper every once in awhile

I don’t think there is any need to use foul language

except in sports, I can’t imagine playing or coaching sports without using foul language. I guess I’m just too raw when I compete.
