9/21/2019 - A Louisiana man has drowned after proposing to his girlfriend underwater while the couple was vacationing in Tanzania. Steven Weber and Kenesha Antoine were staying in Pemba Island, in a wooden cabin with a bedroom submerged beneath the ocean surface off the east coast of Africa.

Weber proposed on Thursday by swimming underwater and holding a handwritten note against the bedroom windows. The note, which Weber had placed inside a transparent plastic bag, read, "I can't hold my breath long enough to tell you everything I love about you. BUT... Everything I love about you I love more EVERY DAY! Will you please be my WIFE? Marry me???"

But Weber failed to return to the water surface.

I read about a place called the Manta Resort wonder if this was there. A double room is $1700 a night minimum 3 night stay. It does not look that far down if this was the place.

Just saw the video of him showing the note . He actually looked like he was heading back up normally ashame because it was not that far getting back up. A few said they thought maybe he just ran out of air up top and instead of air a wave of water hit him or something. If you look at the picture of the room it was not that far back up.
