People who rent are indirectly paying property tax. Assuming the owner of said rental property isn't fukn' stupid. Those who fail to respect peoples rights, property rights, commit crimes and are violent actually get punished instead of segregated as a class of victims and turned into a voting bloc.

The Constitution grants us rights that no individual or group of individuals holding power can diminish, so the "fear" that 1 property owner runs the show is unfounded.

The real fear should be a "group of non property owners" running the show....because if people who don't have skin in the game, who don't contribute to the public treasury, are consistently voting themselves financial benefits and new laws or restrictions to protect and benefit themselves, then we have list respect for private property....and then there can be no wealth, no law and no order, because at that point you are essentially a banana republic....which is where we are headed when the losers in this video are treated equally to the hard working men an women who built and paid for the park and public space they loiter in and use to attack innocent victims and commit crime.

The losers in this video presumably rent in either a subsidized environment or a place with background check restrictions and/ eviction restrictions.

In Minneapolis we have new legislation that prohibits landlords from doing background checks or evicting residents for failure to pay rent. That's right....needs to be a secondary cause and you cannot fail to rent due to a background check.

I wonder if those laws and benefits of those laws were voted to protect private property or if they were political pandering.....

It's just one example, there are dozens more. I cannot think of any other solution to fix our country's issues other than to limit voting to the productive, because if the productive want to vote themselves public benefit, at least it's their money, and if they want to vote or entitlement expansion, hey- it's their money!
