Experience with Traeger Smokers?

Since PT is off the rails tonight, might as well ask this in here

Think I am about to grab a Traeger Pro 575 this week, ACE Hardware has a special(some extra goodies included) and I really like the model

Any input? Have an electric smoker currently, want to use it as a portable smoker (tailgate, party, etc) and keep the Traeger at the home base

I have one at home.. the rubs are pretty good so make sure you get those. if you're looking for something portable, the weber smoker is good for a tailgate.

Gotcha, when I grab this Traeger I will be able to just use the electric as a portable. It's not that big and its a vertical so doesn't take up much space

Traeger produces some great meat. It's kind of a cheater smoker, but would you rather have great tasting meat or be manning the fukkin smoker for 12 hours?
