Hall was not arrested and was driven home by then-O'Fallon police Chief John Neske. Hall's lawyer claims the sobriety tests were administered improperly. Ferndale police officer arrested, charged with criminal attempt–soliciting minor

A Ferndale police officer was arrested at his Blaine home Tuesday night and charged with criminal attempt–solicitation of a minor, according to a Wednesday release.

Michael Scott Langton was arrested by Bellingham Police and booked into Skagit County Jail.

"As this charge involves a minor, it is especially sensitive, therefore no additional details on this active investigation will be released at this time," the City of Bellingham release stated.

The City of Ferndale also issued a release Wednesday confirming Langton's arrest and reiterating the active nature of the case.

"The City believes the Bellingham Police Department will conduct a thorough and complete investigation in this matter," the City of Ferndale statement read.

Ferndale Communications Officer Riley Sweeney said Langton was previously placed on administrative leave by the City of Ferndale in October 2021 after the city received information Langton had contacted the Oath Keepers, a far-right extremist group.

An investigation conducted by Ferndale Police Department concluded the complaint against Langton was unfounded and Langton was reinstated, Sweeney said. As a result of the incident, the City of Ferndale reviewed and updated its policies and training related to "controversial organizations."

Langton was also involved in a civil lawsuit alleging racist behavior in February 2020, according to court documents.

Now the department is illegally deleting Facebook posts from people redressing their government for grievances. Courts have already ruled that these actions are a destruction of public records and 1st Amendment violations. So typical when pigs go into coverup mode in an attempt to hide their criminal activity from the public they end up breaking more laws in the process and digging their hole deeper.
