I don't disagree with this but do some really don't get the opportunity? Those sign ups seems to last a long time.

Seems like SBR makes it available. Is it really a concern?

Look at laker boy at the last ifbc it took forever for him to get a spot and we all know he is a big contributor to the site

Regardless, Lakeshow made it and SBR made it right.

If he signs up sooner, then we here of no issues, right?

I could be wrong, maybe Lakeshow tried on day one and was cut out.

SBR can always add more if there are issues, they did with his case.

But let's face it, the only bar we have is Pro Membership.

Also, it seems SBR grades in favor of the posters who have genuinely gone to past bashes. So, if you've gone to back to back to back bashes... chances are they will select you over others.

I think this is more about guys who have bailed last minute on bashes. Sbr pays for room food etc so if a guy has bailed last minute previously or has stated they are going and has bailed not just last minute I can understand why sbr doesn't pick them to come to the bash.

Let's also be honest as far as sbr is concerned a lot of guys SAY they are going to attend and have bailed last minute or are a no show ( which is why airfare required by a certain date) so showing that you show up to these events in prior years sbr is obviously going to give these guys the opportunity to be there

i find the best way to ensure an invite to the bash is to send the beautiful ladies of SBR gifts, and since they know their way around the kitchen, I usually send a prime cut of meat.....

A better question is why don't the posters that are deemed invaluable sign up right away? I was going last year and found out in the last month I couldn't go. I had my airfare, ended up losing out on the voucher also. I had the mod give my spot to Sweeper. I would have reimbursed SBR if my spot wasn't filled.
