What is too old in joining the union?

I know they can’t discriminate against age but that doesn’t mean they won’t just put you at the bottom of the list.

My job for the last 10 years doesn’t really transfer or give me experience for any union position, closest being electrical maybe?

I’m actually around union carpenters, electricians, and plumbers on a regular basis and what they all have said is all over the place.

the union is biggest pyramid scheme scam there legally is. union dues goes towards lobby at the government to come up with ridiculous laws that should not be legal
