I used to live in the San Diego area and they were much louder there.

Now I live in Mission Viejo (OC Area) and didn't think I would hear them here.

But WOW... tonight they must be doing some serious war games on Camp Pendleton.

Sounds like hard core thunder over and over and over.

used to be a fun deer in the deer blind in s. tex, cool after noon, about fifty-sixty degrees, total silence, enjoying a hunt, and then some f-14's or 15's suddenly erupt overhead out of some f'n base around san antonio, like a half ass brush country flyover.....

didn't seem to fuk up the huntin' too bad, and if anything, might have helped a few times because it spooked deer out of their usual routines, and had em crossing senderos they wouldn't ordinarily cross, offering up a shot....
