What would you do in this situation?

I know this couple through my ex and I feel awful for them but at the same time I can't help but think to myself what freakin pussies. If I saw someone killing my dog I would gauge his freakin eyes out if I had to. Here's the first hand account I got: They were walking their sweet pit on a leash back to their apartment when two unleashed dogs, a shitzu and a labradoodle, that were unleashed (against the apt complex rules) charged and started attacking the pit and then the couple who owned it. A neighbor (asian man apparently if that matters or helps paint the picture) with no skin in the game ran in and started choking out the pit and holding its mouth and nose shut while the couple were being attacked by the other two dogs. Supposedly they couldn't get to the guy or do anything bc of the other two dogs but just googling those two dogs has me shaking my head. How do you not plow thru a shitzu and a labradoodle like a bull to get to this guy and tackle him or bash him over the head when you see him choking out your freakin dog??? Mans best friend, part of the family!

The cops were called and the guy seemingly only got ticketed. Now they have to live next to this guy who murdered their dog with 6 months left on their lease. I was told their was a petition with over 2300 signatures in the last 24 hrs to evict the guy. Imo he should be locked up for atleast a few months min and beaten. I know if I was in this situation I'd lose my cool and end up beating the crap out of this guy at some point if I ran into him. Heck I'd go out of my way to get him where there were no cameras and goto town leaving him on the ground with a busted up face and a few hard kicks to the nuts then mb bust up his car and piss on his face.

Pitbulls get a bad rap when in reality it is how they are trained by their owner that matters the most. If you train them to be guard dogs or to be in dog fights they are scary bc of how powerful their jaws are and how muscular their bodies are. If you train them like you would any other dog and love them they are the sweetest dogs around and super loyal. I admit that I once had a bias against pit bulls at one point bc no one owned them where I grew up on Long Island and I believe they are illegal or were to own in NYC. The only stories I would hear about them were negative ones about them getting loose and attacking some random person/ dog. Once again all on the owner. When I lived in Arizona seemingly 50% of the dogs were pits or pit mixes. I adopted a 4 month old puppy for 3 years (half pit half shar pei) from some young girl who couldn't care for it and it was one of the best dogs I've ever been around. If the dog that was choked out in this story was not a pit this would probably be nationwide news.

I would bet big money this asian guy was some mma ju jitsu hardo based on the fact he choked it out. Those people that train and look for trouble are the worst.

What would you do in this sitch?

Well if it was me personally and someone killed my dog I would I would go stick up for my dog whether I got my ass beat killed or what.

I know my dog would die for me and I would do the same for my dog

The Law also recognizes that you "have no dog in this fight".
Try to convince your Ex and Ex-Friends to Lawyer Up.
Other than that... MYOB and move on with your life.

Well the article says that the guy "tried" to get the other person to stop choking his dog.

Hell I can't believe the pit bull didn't rip the guy that was choking him to shreds!

I have no skin in the game, but to say pit bulls "get a bad rap" just means that one of them has not freakin mauled

a dog that you or your family/friends own, nor has a pit bull mauled you or anyone in your family or friends.

The only people who think they aren't vicious and unpredictable are the people who haven't had their dog,

or their children ripped to shreds by one of those savage beasts.

It's kinda like letting a known serial killer/child molester move in with your family and because you are still alive

a week later, your thinking is: "Well, I'll let him keep staying here because he hasn't done anything to my family."

        LOL Good luck with that.

Moronic post. What percent of pit bulls are bad dogs? 3% or less due to bad owners is my guess.

Has there ever been a good or positive story involving a pit?

What kind of positive story would be newsworthy for any dog that isn't a trained service dog? 99% of the news is political bs or negative crap. It's rare to see anything positive on the news.

In a lot of countries people eat dogs. Why isn't that popular in the U.S?
