That's why I'll never own a Condo. Well that and if the reserves run low with the condo association and then all the condo owners then get emergency assessed fees for common area repairs unrelated to their own Condo.. You have to pay regardless..

Condo's suck!!! HOA fees suck.. It's like paying rent..

By law... he is responsible for maintenance year round. So... yes he would have to mow it.

There's a lot in the subdivision I live in.... the lot hasn't had a home built on it yet. It's been nearly 20 years. The dimensions of the lot is small.... would be a very small home if someone decided to build.

The property has been auctioned off twice. Everyone thinks they get a steal.... but they aren't thinking. City taxes... and Summer lawn maintenance is a big pain in the ass.
