on my way home last night following beach volleyball tournament... on cruise control on 2 lane road at 60... 1 SUV ahead of me prob 150 feet... cruising as well as it was almost midnight and not many on the road

i was listening to NF and snacking on gummy worms that i hadn't planned on buying but as i walked by them something made me look at them and pure impulse purchase. grabbed what i went in to buy after and on my way.

so the SUV and me were cruising when i hear tires screeching and i focus ahead and SUV is violently swerving to the left and then... BOOM almost direct hit with some shitty car that was doing something stupid i assume and lead to the SUV swerving because they drove 35 thru the town then were cruising just like me at 60 driving perfect. the SUV stops just off the left side of the road and is on it's side... the car... comes to a stop off the right side of the road still upright somehow but all smashed up to hell on the front and side... tons of debris from the collision quickly settled in the middle of the road.... I slammed on my breaks and got off on the right about 20 feet from the destroyed car that i was assuming in the frenzy of the moment was at fault...

another car comes the other side of the wreck and 2 guys jump out and we all check on the SUV then car and a guy then flew up in a truck and had custom lights flashing and got out to assist us and quickly called and had EMS and police on the way... he stopped his truck in the middle of the road to make sure no dumbass tried to drive between the two wrecked cars into the debris... and yelled multiple times as the cars starting adding up stopped behind me and the wreck

"ROAD IS CLOSED" TURN AROUND... EMS AND POLICE ARE ON THE WAY... DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT IT, THE ROAD IS CLOSED ASSHOLE! STOP!

amazing to watch unfold...

in the end, the person at fault in the car died from the injuries sustained but on a brighter note the married couple in their 40s maybe early 50s were in much better condition being in the SUV and landing on it's side, other random factors involved i swear like Angels

Point of my story

If I HADN'T bought those gummies to snack on I may have been in a more impatient mood and passed that SUV as we got outside of the 35 mph zone and hit 55... seeing as I am impatient at times

I could've been that SUV in my car and swerving to miss that asshole in the car that died.... i could've died

think my grandma who had passed away just 1 week prior.... on my birthday.... i am not making this up... was looking out for me as it was the day after her funeral and i had one last nice conversation with her

amazing!
