It's actually a fake maneuver to sway trading so that certain prices will be manipulated and traded lower than normal so Saudi elite can get funds moved and pop the weak prices with huge returns expected. Mainly a Chinese move but it's catching on.

I was told markets were going crazy in Hong Kong by a friend of a gold trader there. And sent that chart and he said up 27%.... I should have looked at it closer. It was up $27 and 1.5%
