I started taking welbutrin, a dopamine reupper. It is supposed to combat anxiety and depression.

Don't get me wrong, I still deposited recently but its weird I truly feel very little urge to gamble. Went 3 weeks without betting, just got a job offer, should feel like celebrating with a bet but don't. Instead going out with friends. Reaching out to old friends and getting back on dating apps.

Haven't drank in 4 weeks either.

Quite strange.

If you like weed there no reason to quit that! Nothing bad about it.. it be like saying you gonna quote spinach, or yogurt, coffee, Chinese food.. I mean if you just tired of it by all means, for whatever reason I never been much of a weed smoker. I’d kill for that to be my drug of choice but I simply do not function well on pot. Sometimes I find a strain that better than others for me but still not a think I can do and go to work and function out around ppl very normal like all my friends can. I’d kill for that!!

I do not think it is BS . Amazing a drug can stop you all together from gambling. Like others said just be careful with the drug in case any side effects. But it sounds like it is letting you do other things you have not done as much in the past .

So this dopamine pill does it for you. Cures depression/anxiety with an added bonus (if that’s what you want). I just wanted this pill over SSRI or Xanax cause both cause ED, no thanks.

. If gambling is a major issue for you, studies show combining this with naltrexone can eliminate any addiction (read an article on this after searching this no urge to gamble symptom).

Wellbutrin is also prescribed to people looking to quit smoking as it is most effective for treating that apparently.
