This movie is unlike anything you ever saw.......

Vince Vaughn finally broke out of his comedy mold.........!

He and Mel Gibson were a perfect team.....

The movie is a little slow so give it time and I promise it will deliver..

Never heard of an Action, Crime, Drama movie lasting 2 1/2 hours before?

This movie is so surreal as the violence will grab you by the throat and drag you Across Concrete!!

I give it a 9.9/10 for originality...........

The script centers on two policemen, one an old-timer (Gibson), the other his volatile younger partner (Vaughn), who find themselves suspended when a video of their strong-arm tactics become the media's cause du jour. Low on cash and with no other options, these two embittered soldiers descend into the criminal underworld to gain their just due, but instead find far more than they wanted awaiting them in the shadows.

brutal drama about racism in the american south


seems to be very realistic, in fact sometimes it's hard to watch the movie,
because it's full of violence (opens up with a huge group of men raping a
woman, then another rape and a castration of a black boy) nevertheless,

i think the director wanted to use the brutality to draw realistic picture of racism.

One of my favorite novels of all time is George Orwell's 1984, and Brazil is very much a comedic interpretation of that. Brazil shows us a hilarious exaggeration of the monotony of machine like run bureaucracy, and man's constant voyage to avoid responsibility.

"That's not my department." Everyone seems to say. Sam Lowry (Jonathan Pryce) is a low ranking government employee. When an error leads to the execution of engineer Archibald Buttle (Brian Miller) instead of terrorist Archibald Tuttle (Robert De Niro), Sam attempts to fix this, and inadvertently becomes an enemy of the state.

Read that scenario again. This is a funny movie. It's a dark comedy/political satire, and almost every joke works. The nonchalant attitude of the government depicted in the film is where a big chunk of the humor comes from. It's a very smart comedy. Honestly if you like political satire, then Brazil is one we can all enjoy together.

Once Upon a Time was very good but not great. I prefer Death Proof, PF, RD,Django and Inglorious ahead of this one.

Watched the Wild Bunch per another posters suggestion....great western! In there w the best of Clint and Mag/7

I wasn't expecting much, but these first two episodes were actually quite fun; some cool practical effects, good casting, and some great little call backs and homages to the original 2 movies (Chief Woodenhead, Yellow mack of the hitchhiker...and more!). These episodes show that you can still entertain and dish out some creeps without having to chuck $$$$$ and endless jump scares (IT 2 I'm looking at you).

Let me start off by saying if Joaquin Phoneix doesn't get his Oscar for this movie. Then the Oscars should be cancelled. Phoneix is amazing as you might've heard from every review ever! But Todd Phillips. Is at his best here. The story lines he takes and visuals are just breathtaking. The score!! Omg the Score! Every time that score came on, I felt very uncomfortable, like something horrible was about to happen. It was GREAT. The Inspirations from Taxi Driver and King of Comedy are there, and add so much for the movie. And I got to be honest. There are scenes that are very violent. And its disturbing. But I honestly expected it to be WAYYYY more violent from all the controversy going on. Overall this movie was GREAT. Come Oscar season, it needs to be nominated for Best Picture, ScreenPlay, Cinematography, Actor, Score and Director
