Saw this the other night.
First movie I’ve seen in years.
Rented it and watched it twice in 2 days.
Great soundtrack and gut-puncher.

I consider myself a man’s man... some of my favorite movies include Goodfellas, Gladiator, Rounders, Shawshank Redemption, Old School...

But I have to say A Star is Born was absolutely phenomenal. I just watched it Friday night with my wife and I still keep thinking about it and have the songs stuck in my head. I never go to the Saloon here but just checked in to post about this movie and I see you beat me to it! Great acting, great story, one of the most emotionally moving movies I’ve seen in a long time.

I havent seen Green Book or Roma (heard it was awful) but I’ve seen most Best Picture winners over the years and most are shit in my opinion. I know they don’t give it to any genre other than Dramas and I’d be shocked to see a better drama this year.
