There is no book that will turn you into an extrovert, you're wired the way you are. You can definitely learn to be a better conversationalist though. A lot of people suck at it nowadays, but my mom can routinely talk one on one for 12 hours straight, I don't even know how it's possible.

Dang 12 hours straight that is a real talent. I got friends at work that can do that with customers.

If there's art on the wall there, Point out a picture on the wall, and tell an art story

If you're watching tv, Tell an anecdote about the movie or TV show on the screen

If shes drinking wine, Make up some story about wine tasting in Argentina

Suggest you know a sommelier who insists you pair that exact wine she's drinking with a certain cigar, and there's a cigar lounge down the road

At some point in your dialog youll get her to lock in if you can keep the story entertaining, once they lock in you're gold- they've made their mind up
