I sure did Packer, he promised me that I would not be incarcerated for smoking pot, so I voted for him. Guess what, he came through on his promise and he didn't lie about Norway paying for it, he didn't grab any pussies along the way and he hasn't put any kids in cages, as far as I know. He doesn't make a fool of himself on a world stage and he isn't laughed at by the rest of the world's leaders. He's never hosted a game show, he hasn't been married three times and he hasn't paid off any pornstars and doesn't pretend to be a Christian. Is he perfect no, but he made a promise and kept it. I am a fairly selfish constituent. I am not married to any particular party, if I like one of the philosophies or promises a particular politician makes, and it speaks to me... That's who I vote for. The problem with pretending that you were born blue or red is that you have to be on board with everything your party does and says, which is quite unrealistic.
I vote for the candidates that represent my interests & try to avoid the ones who don't.
When you elect a game show host to lead a country, politics are going to become very divided, screwed up and absurd.

Didn't Robert Downey Jr win an academy award for doing blackface in Tropic Thunder? I actually haven't seen that movie so correct me if I'm wrong- I just seem to remember there being some controversy about his role. This probably wouldn't fly today, but I thought this scene with Aykroyd in Trading Places was hilarious.
