After classes at West Virginia University were canceled because of snow, students spent the day Friday drinking and playing winter games. Hundreds gathered along Spruce Street as some biked, sledded, snowboarded and kayaked on the downhill road just off campus in Morgantown.

But the alcohol-induced “playful time in the snow” turned into a “dangerous and threatening situation,” university officials said. Police were called, beer and liquor bottles were thrown, pepper balls were deployed, a fire was started, and about an hour later, a riot was declared.

had a house party one night in HS, turns out someone got stabbed and a pretty big fight broke out because some guys from the bar down the street showed up

Cops pop in, about 10 of them. The one cop asks me if it was my house and I told him it was. He looked around a bit more and said “what the fukk is wrong with you allowing these people to drink natty light, parties over” and that was it

We were all underaged, but he wasn’t there to be a dick. One of a few different cops I’ve encountered that were normal dudes that just happened to wear a badge
