With all the technology, all the advances in the world, one would think we would have solved this puzzle.

My opinion.

We live in a world where everything is dominated by money. We have drug corporations ( Notice the word "Corporations") that have to please shareholders. The only way to that path is to sell as many drugs as they can. Not cure, but sell drugs. Sad. They have a cure, they just don't want to put it out there for the sake of money.

I know this and it pains me. Why is everything about money when you cannot take it with you when you die?

Yep, the human body is a complex machine. Like machines, the body eventually breaks down and cancer is just one of hundreds or thousands of things that can go wrong with it.

I can't believe I have to bring this up again, but if you are saying money is the reason why "they" don't have or won't release a "cure", then how do you explain the fact that if there WERE a cure, the guy coming up with it, or pharma company, would make BILLIONS or even TRILLIONS? That alone shows the idiocy of the question, among other things. But it needn't go there. I am trained medically and there is no conspiracy. We've pretty much solved everything else, people live longer than they ever did, now they complain about ... dying at 80 when people commonly dropped dead at 50 and 60 in years past. Grow up and understand your petty complaints. You gotta die from something, my friends, and if you live long enough, your body has senescent cells or your DNA changes enough to create rogue cells.

In this world, no one lives forever, nor will they. Put your trust in eternal things, and you won't be bothered by being a sojourner here. But if you are living for this world, you will always be fearful of death, the last enemy. Unless you become aware of the person that defeated it, and start living for Him.

Personally.... it's like anything new in life.... what happens first???

Price: Remember the price on HDTV's when they first came out? It's something new.... prices were outrageous if you wanted a 61"+ HDTV. Same thing will happen for the Cancer Cure.... it would probably be.... astronomical at first. Only the wealthy would be able to afford it. I don't think health insurance would cover it... in fact... I'll bet that in won't.

Families would have to make choices in their tree... should we put up our paid off home... to save a loved one's life?

Again... I think there's been cures for cancer.... I think it's all in who you know at this point...

Society would be outraged when a low income family couldn't receive a drug that could cure cancer. That's why it hasn't been released yet.... would be madness on the streets.

But they have it.... it won't ever be released to the public.
