Turning the corner with it. 2-3 days ago may have been sick I have ever been. I've forgot what being that sick is. It completely takes over

Same. It's possible to get the flu even if you get the shot but the symptoms aren't as bad.

One year I forgot to get my Flu shot and I got Influenza A. It was wayyyyyy worse. My fever has higher and lasted longer and it took me way longer to recover. Even after I was over it, it still took me about another week before I got my energy back.

It's pretty sad that we have all these anti-vaccine people. They watch a 5 minute video on YoutTube posted by some guy in his trailer and all of the sudden they know more than doctors.

We live longer and have a much better standard of living because of science. Why not use it? If you don't believe in vaccines then just stop going to the doctor all together and see how that turns out.

I always saw 4 or 5 young people every winter that came in with Inf A and we would put them on life support and try to keep them alive long enough to get a heart transplant. Similar as what happened to bigday, except it was their hearts that took the brunt of the damage, not the neuro system.

I know a lot of ant-vaxxers too. It’s pretty pathetic.

It’s not a coincidence that around the time this anti-vaccine movement started a lot of these viruses came back stronger.

I really don’t feel like getting lectured by someone that goes to McDobalds for lunch, smokes a pack a day, and drinks alcohol all of the time....then they want to talk to me about health.

Drink fluids, take some meds, get rest and block it out. Unless you are a child, senior citizen, have recently been overseas or aids guy the flu isn’t going to kill you.

Been with my GP for about 30 years. When he told me to get a flu shot, I did. Got the flu and was sick as a dog the first day. Second day was survivable. Third day I was walking and talking like nothing happened.

Flu shots may not guarantee you don't get the flu but they most definitely reduce the symptoms.
