What Is The Gas Price In Your Area? Dropped $0.80 In Detroit Area In 4 Weeks. Crazy.
Was $2.79
Now $1.99
What's the reason for this? Anyone know?
Usually gas prices sky rocket at Christmas and New Year.

Most people don't even have cars anymore. More people riding bikes in the winter time.

Two places in Detroit reporting $1.79 now
This doesn't make any sense to me.
It's like 2005 all over again.

It will go down more after the new year. The forwarded contracts are the only thing keeping it up as much as it is.

Just filled up a 30 gallon tank at $2.19
Kind of pissed off now. Thought the price would go up because of the Holidays... it always does... but not this time.
Is Trump causing the price to go down??!!?

Oil went from $75 a barrel to $45 a barrel. They refine crude oil to make gas. It's been like that for a long time. Price of oil goes down and then price of gas follows.

Pavy I get all that.... but the barrel was like at $55.00 - $57.00 and the gas price never adjusted here in Michigan. It just now finally adjusted.
I read some reports about how people invest in Oil etc... and they sound scared shi#less. Why?

The closer you are to the refineries the faster the price drops. We had $1.99 gas for 6 weeks now. Michigan finally catching up. We may see $1.50 by February if Trump keeps fukking up the economy.

It's usually about 25 or 30 cents cheaper here in Pahrump. A few days ago I paid $3.49 for Premium.

Don't worry, I'm sure an old refinery will explode for some "odd" reason, and then the price will go back up.

Gas price prime example of price fixing.
Pre-Katrina i don’t ever remember gas being much more than $1.40.
When big gas/oil figured out we’d pay close to 5 bucks, it’s been like a yo-yo with the price ever since. They tease us with lower prices for awhile and then make up some crisis and raise the price because they know we’ll pay it.

But Trump said he was creating jobs and everyone was going to be great.
Drawback of cheap gas in Texas, it is Texas. A real pile of crap state.
