Spotify has been major leader in paid subscribers but Apple Music is quickly catching up and has seen much faster growth in 2018 due in large part to their built in smart phone customer base, etc. Relative to other music apps, these are the 2 Juggernauts

Youtube still gets my vote for all music needs.. Itunes for storage and on the move.... Need a good system to deliver the sounds..

Nope, it's for the music man.. Official videos and live performances you can't beat on youtube, just install a youtube download program..

I've pulled over 5000 songs and downloaded them off youtube and on to I-tunes over the years.. Always get what I need. Sound quality is fine and it's free..

I like you you said they are "Quickly Catching up." Apple music was around way before spotify, which means they fell really behind. Hard to catch up from that.

And the fact that unless you have Apple, you arn't using apple music, where as Spotify appeals to Apple users and other platform users
