How old is it?

Older atmospheric combustion furnaces draw air from the inside of the house for combustion purposes and will dry the house out as that air gets replaced by cold dry air from outside the house.

That's not a problem with newer sealed combustion furnaces as all the air for combustion comes from outside and returns to outside up the flue.

A brand new furnace will certainly be sealed combustion so it should have no impact on indoor humidity.
