I'm with you Donk--for the most part, I am pro-hunting although I have no interest in doing it myself. I don't know what the scenario was with these people, but often times people pay a huge fee to hunt big game, but the fee goes to ensuring more of a future animal population in areas where poaching is a problem. But then I see a photo like this--just a fat ass with a gun who has accomplished nothing.

The male lion actually has quite a bit in common with sbr posters in general. He lays around all day, usually napping, while the female lion does the hunting, the watching of the young, the providing of services for the male. He then spends the better part of his day biatching and moaning to the female that not enough is being accomplished and that he is entirely unsatisfied and must go out and score some easy bread. Home by daylight and napping once again by mid-morning he is an easy target for the "fat f'n douchebag" poachers the OP identified in post 1 (usually the police, sheriffs, bill collectors or others looking for an easy target in the case of the sbr poster). canned hunts, shooting lions on preserves.... might as well go down to the h-town zoo and unload on the lions and tigers, as it wouldn't be much different......

fair chase is the only thing that gets me goin'......

shooting anything that's in a pen, nearly domesticated, or used to humans, is simply lame......

as much of a challenge as goin' out and shooting a couple of my cows on the ranch.....
