LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Las Vegas Metro police said they are searching for a man suspected of robbing a casino cage at Circus Circus Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to the incident at 2:32 a.m. at the property on Las Vegas Boulevard near Desert Inn Road.
According to police, the suspect approached a cashier at the casino cage, showed a gun and demanded cash. The cashier complied and placed cash on the counter. The suspect took the money, left the casino and got into the passenger seat of a light-colored sport utility or crossover vehicle.
The vehicle was last seen heading south on Las Vegas Boulevard and possibly west on Spring Mountain Road, police said.
The suspect and vehicle remain at large, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
