That is so ridiculous, it like saying 2+2= chicken. Of course ppl that are willing to try something deemed bad or illegal are more likely to try other things. That in no way means weed leads to harder drugs. It just means folks with the personality to try weed are more likely to try other things. The act of smoking weed in no way makes a person try harder things.

Someone who is predisposed to addiction will likely have tried weed before heroin although not always. They will have also likely tried alcohol and other drugs. Some people use pot, alcohol, and other substances responsibly while others do not. Almost every ex junkie I know identifies as an ALCOHOLIC though.
