The new Led Zeppelin

Check these guys out, the video below is a Live performance from a couple of months ago.

They sound almost just like old Led Zeppelin. Some might call them a complete rip off of Led Zep... fair enough. But the fact is these guys are good! Definitely one of the best rock bands I've heard this century and the oldest members are only 22. I don't know about you guys... but I'm completely sick of hearing songs about "Shawty's in da club" etc. It's refreshing to see young musicians who are immensely talented like these guys are. For anyone that's a fan of Zep... I think you would like these guys.

Kinda old news but yeah, very similar style.

I dont mind what they are doing, there's no bands with that style anymore and as long as they write their own music is all good new music for me!

There was already a thread on these guys here at SBR. They have talent in all fairness, but the blatant appropriation of Zeppelin's sound, style, and even stage mannerisms makes them extremely corny... about as close as you can get to being a cover band without performing Zep's actual catalog, which they also do, but just songs rather than entire sets.

I just found out about these guys a few days ago. I almost never hear new music that I like anymore... I can't remember the last time I heard a new song on the radio that I actually liked.

OP, never heard of them (i'm old) but i liked the video....

a few thoughts,

does that really sound like led zeppelin? my question is based off that one video.

lead singer has good stage presence but he seems so small and funny looking... i did like him.

his voice sounds alot more like rush (geddy lee??), styx or gowan (if you know who that is) than robert plant

I like them, I don't mind if the sound 70's classic rock... more power to them... too much idiots running w laptops nowadays especially on these kind of festivals...

On top of that Eddy, I read an article on these guys and when asked about their musical influences, they don’t mention Zeppelin.
