My brother committed suicide 2 years ago on 5-21-16. If you are going to kill yourself just know that it really penetrates up your friends and families lives too, cuz a huge part of me died along with him. Also entertaining the idea of suicide is a really bad idea, because eventually you might just talk yourself into it.

Im sorry about your brother man and yes at my lowest points in life I have been really about to do it and the thought of my family/friends suffering pretty much steer me away from it...

The problem is when one has fights with family and friends are too busy on the married/dad life to spend some time. Plus wifes usually think of me as a bad influence. Friends always been my outlet.

Don't know the details here but I can say this...

Not everyone who thinks about killing themselves actually kills themselves.

But 100% of those who commit suicide start by thinking about it.

I don't know if the paradigm has shifted but research I was related too (as a student researcher, not a subject or stat to be researched) strongly indicated that suicidal thoughts are the first step in the order of things.

It might sound obvious, but I don't mean just thinking about it, like the what if's in this thread, and about others, I mean the actual thoughts seeking it as an answer.

It's similar to happiness, smiling, and those type of feedback mechanisms combined with the concept of self fulfilled prophecy.

Those contemplating, even for the first time, are in serious trouble and I recommend getting help.
