It’s impossible to be 100% sure. I just think pilot suicide is the most probable theory by far.

The plane flew for six hours after it disappeared making specific maneuvers so someone was in control of the plane.

The fact that the captain flew the same type of path on his flight simulator and the fact that he plane flew over his home town are kind of a giveaway to me.

None of the other YouTube conspiracy theories have anything to back them up. Not one shred of evidence.

The 60 minutes piece has six experts in their field analyzing what pieces of the puzzle we have.

My problem with the conspiracy theories is that they come up with outlandish theories to discredit the evidence that we actually have while providing no evidence to back up their crazy theories.

The Patent
The patent in question is dated 11 March 2014 and involves a “system for optimizing number of dies produced on a wafer.” That doesn’t sound like a highly valuable, “breakthrough” type of patent that would prompt the murder of four people (much less the death of 235 other innocent parties) in order to gain exclusive control of it. It looks to be a patent for a procedure that moderately improves the efficiency of a particular manufacturing process, not something with a huge market base and a vast potential for profit.
