Best VPN country for Kodi/Amaon Firetv?

Bought IP Vanish ($3.33/mo) in hopes more Kodi links would work. Not much improvement when VPN set up in Costa Rica & UK. Wondering if some countries are better than others using VPN, to get more Kodi links to work?
