The dog that died on the United Airlines flight....
It was wrongfully put in the overhead compartment, but......How did the owner not check on him ever during the 3 hour flight??? The fact that it was barking and stopped barking is a good tell something is up.

They're making it like she had nothing to do with the dog dying.

They shouldn't put dogs in the overhead compartment. Crying/screaming babies on the other hand.....

Those Frenchies have trouble breathing as it is. That was bullshit that they made them put it up there, but if that was my pup, I would have been checking on it repeatedly.

Exactly. You'd check on your dog if it was in a car for three hours. Why not an overhead compartment?

I would of never agreed to put the dog in the overhead. I'd get off the plane before doing that to the poor dog

She claims she didn't know a dog was in there. How could she not?

Don’t care how dumb the dog owner was. The airline was 100 times dumber. I don’t know the story. Only what is in this thread, but screw the airline. I’d sue/screw the out/off of them. Granted, when my dog is freaking out I’d demand they let his ass out of there. It would never get to that point but damn. Feel like there has to be more to this. Jokes aside it is like sticking a crying baby in there.

They made her do it guys, get the story straight. The policy is on the floor by the feet in a proper carrier.

                    The attendants are at fault.

                    AGAIN.

The incident prompted shock, outrage and sadness, particularly after it emerged that a flight attendant had required a family to put their young dog in the overhead bin for a three-hour flight.

United is a penetrating joke. I've had nothing but problems with them as well

Should have been put in the cargo area.

Why would a dog die in the overhead locker?
