It was wrongfully put in the overhead compartment, but......How did the owner not check on him ever during the 3 hour flight??? The fact that it was barking and stopped barking is a good tell something is up.

Don’t care how dumb the dog owner was. The airline was 100 times dumber. I don’t know the story. Only what is in this thread, but screw the airline. I’d sue/screw the out/off of them.
