I never fought my fam, but we did brawl with a my roommates uncles one night. We were sophs in HS and I was living with a good friend, moms was a drug dealer and uncles huffed shit all day long.

One night the uncles had stolen a car from a local dealership and my buddy was pissed, punched his uncle square in the nose and broke it. The other uncle choked out my buddy, he was out cold.

I was stomping the one uncles head in while my third buddy stabbed the uncle that had my roommate in a choke hold, stabbed him once in the face and once in the neck.

My roommate came too a minute later and we bailed for the entire week.

Fast forward a few years, my roommate is involved in a drug deal gone sideways. Nothing new except it was on a main highway in OKC and in rush hour traffic. He shoots the driver in the head and kills him instantly. The gf of the driver starts running so he shoots her twice in the back, she lives. He turns the gun on himself in the middle of the street and takes his own life.

That was the last anyone ever heard from him

It was crazy times for certain. Everything during those years revolved around drugs, fighting, penetrating and running from the cops.

We grew apart not too long before he died. I got in a fight one day at school and the other kid ended up with a fractured orbital bone.

So my buddy (old roommate) had become pretty close with this other kid and his brother, pretty shady people in general. His brother was probably 10 years older than us and running a meth operation.

The guy invites me to a party and set me up. Got jumped by a fukking crowd of shitty individuals. The plan was to film me getting stomped out and then the brother was going to ram my head through a tv screen.

It didnt quite workout that way, I had some friends there and although I still carry a few scars with me from that night, I never got my head rammed through a tv. Again, knifes were involved, a gun pulled and we took off.

I was really fortunate that night, those guys planned on fukking me up pretty badly. If it wasn’t for a few chance circumstances that night, my life would be significantly different today

A guy I went to HS with grew up in Compton. I remember him telling us his family had the only tree in the neighborhood and everyone thought his family was rich because they owned the parcel with the tree Years later I asked him if that story was true and he said it was

I grew up in Del City/Midwest City area in Oklahoma. Drug trafficking was rampant in that area because it was located right where I-35 and I-40 intersected. Naturally, gangs were well represented in both cities.

Crime in the US is a different breed 100%. Gangs. I mean I was never in one... I rolled with some car boosters when I was 17... I couldnt get a job age 17, tried hostels and others didnt give me a chance. My HS girl was pregnant so I needed to make the quick buck, not to mention I have vices as well... and so I found myself stealing cars... my last nite at it the police chased us for 4miles or so... few times Ive felt that rush. Once I turned 18 I started working at a sportbook... true story
