And lets not forget about Alabama electing a Democrat as a senator. This was after Trump openly endorsed Roy Moore and the RNC funded his campaign. Lets not forget Trump not only endorsed Moore in Alabama but also Gillespie in VA and both lost.

As conservatives are so keen to point out, Obamas presidency had a staggering effect on Democrats at all levels of government. So far, we're seeing the same with Trump and Republicans.
