absolutely correct AD. I taught HS and I observed that almost without fail the kids that had unusual/strange first names almost always were the worst behaved and the lowest achieving. It happened year after year after year and I often mentioned it to colleagues and some observed the same phenomenon.

well it wasn't more than a few years later that an actual study conducted came to the same conclusion, parents that curse their child with a strange or unusual name more often than average produce a kid who is disadvantaged in more ways than one. now the study continued that maybe more than one fact must be taken into consideration. Meaning was it the curse of being named "tramp" or "track" or "shotgun" or whatever stupid shit they came up with or was it simply genetics. If parents are stupid enough to name their child an awkward or ridiculous name the fault lies just as much with genetics as the name itself.

Whatever the reason(s) you have to be a real asshole to curse your child with a name that at the very least will cause ridicule and pain.
