Overall the season was Trash , not sure if writers changed or what .
But the entire season was overall a huge dropoff from all the past seasons , no matter those last 30 seconds .
It was fun but the show just doesn't have the "It" factor anymore .

They have a couple good shows then they just slow play it. I actually thought this season wasn’t horrible compared to some of the recent shit I saw. I hated shows where they would show 1 character the whole damn hour basically.

Nope. Chandler Riggs said last night on the talking dead it was exclusively Showrunner's Scott Gimple decision.

Actor just bought a house in Senoia GA last year which is huge for a kid. Youd think if he wanted out he wouldnt have.

Of course as a kid who was barely able to be a kid he sees it as glass half full.

Shady. The casting of Andrea was awful. Actress was bad and else but the comics top 3 characters are Rick, Carl and Andrea.

Rick is supposed to die in the comics and Carl will be the main character.

Lots of storylines we wont be able to see. Which sucks.

Casting kids for a long run character is almost impossible. You gotta agree Carls best acting was last nite. He went out a hero and seeing him destroyed by fever was just awful.

Apparently he was bitten on the episode he saved Siddiq from the walkers... when he landed on top of the deer corpse.

The reason why Rick didnt kill Negan 9n comics is because he didnt lose Carl. Negan spares Carl on the comics a lot and their relationship is a high point of the story.

During the whisperer story arc Carl has a lot of big moments. Whos gonna take over that?


Yep... TWD was ruined by showrunners starting last season with the Glenn fake out dumpster death + the negan killing scene with a disgraceful cliffhanger that pissed everybody. Also... Negans watered down clown version is bad eventho JDM is a great cast... The governor is still the most memorable villain IMO.

Well not that I owe you any explanations but as a person who lost his company and all his material possessions due to destruction and drug addiction... I can tell you getting back my stuff has been a struggle and yeah... I have been paying my debts with immediate family ($400 this paycheck)... also bought a 32'' tv I needed for my computer for work and some gym equipment as staying in shape is basic for staying clean (all in all spent like $1400 this last 10 days on the things mentioned above... and of course foods, gas and bills,

Your probably correct hurry, never had the time to read the graphic novels. Never rly looked at any of the graphic novels for anything like sin city etc.

I loved David Morrisey as the Governor, terrific job IMO... but yeah I see how if you never read the comics (which are far more adult, ironically) I can understand how Carl and Andrea dying is just meh...

And yeah GoT has a magnificent casting all around... those guys nailed that show, a little disappointed in season 7 because they shortened it so much it skipped very good book plots... plus I was hoping to see more direwolf action.

the show has sucked since season 3. even the spinoff is more enjoyable. it's probably becuz they have no ending in sight so they just recycle the same plot points every couple of seasons without actually moving the story forward. they never should have got rid of Frank Darabont.

Social media blown up over this... people calling to boycott the show unless Scott Gimple is fired as it was learned Gimple FIRED Riggs (Carl) just 2-3 weeks after he assured him they were gonna need him for at least 3 more seasons.

This caused Riggs to buy a home at Senoia, GA... LOL... what a fukkin dikkhead Gimple is.

So they got mad because Riggs asked for a raise most likely.

I hate this show now. Was hooked from day one, and loved it. But it's dragged on FOREVER. It just needs to end. I'll continue to watch because I'm vested in it this long, but it's enough already. Know nothing about the comics, don't follow that storyline, etc. Just a great show that has hung around too long.

Carl's real dad posted an aggressive rant yesterday morning against Gimple, explaining how Gimple fired Carl 2 weeks before his 18th bday and assured him 3 weeks prior firing that he needed him for 3 more seasons AT LEAST.

Which prompted Carl to buy a house in Georgia.
