Google Starts Blocking YouTube on Amazon’s Fire TV, Echo Show
Google is crap, myself & others will simply boycott their products due to their piss poor decision.

The conflict between Amazon and Google is escalating: Google once again started to block access to YouTube on Amazon's Echo Show device Tuesday, and is notifying users of Amazon's Fire TV that they won't be able to access YouTube anymore starting January 1st.

This really sucks because I start my day with YT on Firestick.

But I'm not mad at it, this is just two heavyweights jockeying for position in the space where they're easily the top 2. I get it.

I get it as well...But I don’t have to like it & will not support Google as a result of their poor decision.

        I don't know the context really, so I can't say who's side I'm on.

In all honesty, I might just spend a one-time payment of $39 just to get a Chromecast and have YT back on my television.

I rather buy a smart tv to play & cast youtube, than to support Google:

The Chromecast is a nifty little device , but if you don’t have one at home, you may still be able to cast YouTube and Netflix to your TV, using the o

For anyone losing Youtube come January 1st on Amazon Firetv, an easy fix is to type Firefox in your search bar & download the Firefox browser. Then access Youtube clicking on your downloaded Firefox app:
