    briefly around 2003 I worked at a FedEx distribution warehouse.
    it was hard work, you had to be fast on your feet, lots of stooping.
    The trucks were unloaded onto a conveyor which ran onto a roller-pin
    track, every time you got a box and put it on a pallet there were more waiting.

    I had lots of ball busting jobs but the speed of that one made me quit after
    only a week. No idea how this is done now.

    If you can get a UPS job, you're set, I know drivers who have done
    very very well over the years.

          They must pay a lot better in the USA. Here in Canada they start drivers at a piddly $17 per hour.

              most huge companies suck to work for unless you work for the headquarters or in the office - they impose a lot of expectations on you - you feel you need to comply with a ton of policies and rules. And usually the return is less then working for a small business
