Did you see the movie "get out"

A friend told me it was the best movie he has seen in years. So I watched it and the first half hour was very promising, but wow did I misread that movie. I thought at first it was going to be a lesson on the hypocrisy of progressives. That is the direction I believed it was taking, but it changed quickly. I really enjoyed the first half hour, the rest of the movie was well--I don't know a little far fetched and unbelievable.

Did you see it, any comments. BTW, I really don't recommend it but it was OK I guess. Might be a movie younger people would enjoy.

I was just referring to Hollywood products in general, not specifically this movie

Really liked it. Good plot, good twists. I like the sci-fi aspect to it. Surprise ending.

I believe, but don't know for sure a couple messages were involved with this movie. The first half hour produced one, the rest of the movie gave us at least two more. Maybe the director and writer had more messages he wanted to pass but these movies are often like songs, especially confusing rock and roll. Often when you ask the band or the writer they simply say no particular message, but we as human beings love to attach some type of secret or hard to find message. Examples might be...lucy in the sky and hotel california and a ton more.

The 'distinguished' progressives act like best buds of minorities... meanwhile they want nothing more than to control them.

Yea musicians and artists do that alot because intrique equates to more money and their work being in the limelight and talked about longer. They know what they were thinking when they wrote it. Besides you wouldnt want to always have fans thinking they were wrong so you just tell them its pretty much however they interpret it that way you dont lose the disconnect of fans always thinking they have to decipher your work for the correct meaning in order to understand it. The messages in the movie were clear nothing ambigious, just prior knowledge of some stuff helps like with most stuff.
