Bar fights usually don't have winners or losers. It's usually a really short, awkward, sloppy fight with a bunch of shit in the way.

Been in a few, mostly in college. Never won or lost. Dislocated a finger though, that sucked.

Alot of bouncers are lazy and fat. Lthey were bad asses at one point in their life but rarely have to exert effort. Maybe once in awhile and it's usually easy. They still know how to fight and hit and take a hit though.

I doubt ud understand but if ur ever in the tristate area I could show u. U could even wear protective head gear so u don't get a severe concussion

A few. They are all quick, broken up by somebody if not the bouncers.

Most of my fights were during the L.A. punk scene of '82-'85. Lost frickin count of them all. I can say I have the distinct honor of getting the crap kicked out of me by Dr.Death himself, a big huge hulk of a dude who was the main bouncer at all the Goldenvoice shows at the Olympic. And none of the bouncers there were soft or pussies (sometimes they used contracted companies but there was always at least 20 hardcore beat you down type of guys). I took one or two in my day (lucky shots) but generally a fight with one of them meant there was a good chance you would lose. They would hire guys that they noticed were dominating any fight they were in.

I rarely actually started any but I would rarely if ever back down as back then it wasn't getting stabbed or anything, just getting beat up if you lost. One thing I could not abide was a sucker punch. If I got one or even saw one, there was a very good chance, I was about to get in a fight. There were times where (thank god for me) we both knew it was over and would just stop. Other times, guys wouldn't stop and you (in this case me) needed to be saved by someone else to break it up. I never really did that, if/when I gave a beatdown, I would stop unless the other guy kept going. I would always quit when they did. I wasn't trying to hurt anyone, just scrappin.

One thing I learned (and taught to a few people) is NEVER underestimate the guy in front of you. The cocky a-hole, usually loses.

I've actually avoided a few fights later in life by telling someone, very truthfully, "I've been beaten up by bigger than you."

Now, I'm too old for that shit. The good thing is, I still have all my teeth. But my nose is a little crooked. Mainly because an elbow that ripped/dislodged the base of my nasal septum.

Not tryin' to sound like a badass or anything, cuz I would NEVER claim that, badasses don't get some of the beatdowns I got. Just crazy times from an agro high octane fuel little punk. And frankly, I wouldn't change it for the world.
