She was eye to eye with what she believes was a Tiger shark biting her arm

It's hard to identify sharks though. I don't know if she is a shark expert but there are many types of sharks capable of this. Besides Tiger sharks, you've got bull sharks, mako sharks, small great whites can look like tiger sharks, reef sharks, maybe even hummerhead sharks, IDK maybe you guys can come up with other types.

Alot of shark attacks lately.. They started a show called "when sharks attack" on NGW channel 283 direct tv.. Shows all the surviving victims that were attacked in recent years and why shark attack numbers are growing in America...

Not sure there's much evidence yet to suggest those shark bands work but haven't checked Jibbs link yet I'll have a look. End of the day if a White, Tiger of Bull wants to bite you it's going to imo.

It's the movies that have scared people though. I've lived and surfed by the ocean all my life see a couple every year but thankfully it's just Bronze Whalers around here and they don't care about humans.

But more people in the ocean equals more attacks it comes with the territory. Places the Reunion Island need to do something about it though that place is on the no go list for me.
