truck can't slow down all too fast anyway.... black car has the obligation to safely merge, as he's the one running out of lane..... truck driver should've cut him some slack, but has no legal obligation to do so..... red car can stay in its lane without incurring any liability..... (this assumes the trucker was within the posted speed limits, if not, he can get tagged with causing it as well, and ticketed for exceeding speed limit and thus, also, unsafe merge)

He starts at 88kph (55mph) and speeds up to 100kph (60mph) steadily during the vid. He backs off slightly to 98kph waiting for the black car to speed up and merge just before the collision.

I am the driver of the white truck.

The girl in the car had slowed for an inexplicable reason, and right when she was doing that the semi driver signaled a left lane change, then cancelled signal when he realized he was in a through lane. By that time the car's in his blind spot, and she gets nailed.

The red Hyundai suv was struck by the black car as well (see the small mirror on the semi's left hood corner).

The driver of the black Sentra, 21, was cited for failure to maintain lane by Clayton County PD. Both her and her little dog, as well as the couple in the suv, were not hurt.

That really blows my mind i would have said it was the Trucks fault. I have been in that situation every time going into the office and i always yield to a person if they are ahead of me which the car clearly was. The red SUV was not in a lane ending he was in his own lane and owned that lane noone was merging into it at all not even close. I figure the truck driver had to have all his attention on the left side because when the dotted line ended the car was an entire car length ahead of the truck almost or close to it. When he lines ended and you can see this clearly there is no way at that point the car was in any blind spot.
