#4it screws the middle class and redistributes wealth to the rich. Expect premiums to go up 30% and the deductibles to increase 15%. But elections have consequences. Hillary was a horrible candidate but trump is taking care of the wealthy. He bragged about saving carrier but they just laid off 1000 employeesComment -

#7The ACHA, the new GOP healthcare bill is HORRIBLE, it screws everyone except the 1% richest people in the country who actually get a tax cut as a result. Higher premiums and higher deductibles. Massive price increases for seniors.Comment -

#9The Federal government should not be in the health care business. The only health care the government should be involved in is Medicare to people over 65.

#10Health care is one of the biggest scams in this country. You pay for health insurance and when you get really sick you will go bankrupt paying for the care. What's the point of paying for health insurance if it only covers basic shit? Almost every industry in this country is a scam it's insane.Comment -

No one was buying Obama care when it was mandated which is why rates/ deductibles are so high. Those that
have insurance are using the hell out of it meaning, there's no pool to pull from. It's like living paycheck to
paycheck for the insurance companies.
This new bill does away with individual and corporate mandates meaning, your employer can say fuk you,
find your own insurance, I ain't paying.
They are separating the young from the old. The young, if they buy insurance at all, will have a lower rate.
The old and those with preexisting conditions will pay a lot more.
Across state lines for competition? If every insurance company has the same rates, that's a wash.
There's no other way around this. Govt has to step in. Either get health care costs to come down or everyone
has to have insurance to keep our costs down. Free market won't do shit if the hospitals and doctors keep
costs high. They are the culprit behind our high costs.Comment -

#12the comedy is how anti-american idiots like rkelly all of the sudden care about healthcare after his sheepherder passed his bill in the most tyrannical way in US history to the detriment of the middle class; crippled them.
Rkelly got destroyed on this topic last week and ran away as usual.Comment -

#13Health saving accounts? If you can't afford the premiums/ deductibles, how are you going to save?
In my area, conglomerates are getting hospitals and doctors offices to join together. How is a free market
going to work if they are a conglomerate?
All I can say is, our elected officials need to get out in the real world instead of golfing and jerking each other off.
Single payer, like every other industrialized nation, is the way to go.Comment -

#21And to say the poor are lazy is incorrect as well in a lot of cases the poor stay poor because they are ignorant and are being capitalized on not because they are not good workers but because they are just dumb.Comment -

#26It's very simple. Republicans had their chance to repeal and replace and they failed. Now they need to work on making changes to Obamacare to improve it. If they had any integrity at all, that's what they would do.Comment -

#27Health care in the U.S. was run by charitable institutions
and nobody complained about it until the 1980s came around
then costs started rising - and will always continue to rise -
as long as the for-profit corporations are allowed to own
hospitals and insurance companies hopped on the feeding
frenzy. Catholic hospitals were not kept alive by the Wall Street
banks.. they hate non-profits. Hundreds of large Catholic hospitals
have been acquired by Wall Street international bankers.
Look, the bottom line is that health care is supposed to be operated
on a non-profit basis by the community for the health of the community.
Unfortunately the current societal paradigm wants big government to take
over health care from the corporations. There is no win, both are bad, the
false right says banks and corporations. The false left says government.
Nobody is talking about the solution which is private non-profits with
price controls and protections, and the elimination of greedy middlemen
who do nothing but add layers of profit along the chain. This is why
health care is too expensive, because unnecessary layers of profit are
squeezed into the transmission of service. That is what the GOP seeks
to preserve, so they can receive millions in donations from the corporations.
The Democrats want government to take over.
We've lost and fallen prey to the false gods of capitalism and communism
which are both sides of the same coin, if you know your true history.Comment -
