Out of all threads... this one is fascinating to me.
I just don't understand how it's possible to have these tires flying everywhere?
I understand a tire could blow up and rip to shreds. I get that. But flying "fully inflated" tires is just.... ridiculous to me.

#43Watch Jibby's video in post 34. Most wheels are falling off. That's a loose lug nut problem most likely fromOriginally posted by TheMoneyShot

either them or the mechanic not tightening lug nuts.
My brother owns a garage. One of his mechanics left the lug nuts loose on a wheel. Luckily they brought it back
before falling off, destroyed the rim which he had to pay for. Now they tighten all lugs twice.Comment -

#44Cheap aftermarket wheel spacers which extend your wheel base outward can cause your lug nut screws to crack and break off even if the lug nuts are bolted on tight.. Also missing lug nuts ad more stress to the existing ones which could also break off and send a wheel flying.. Rusted out lug bolts can snap too..Originally posted by rkelly110Watch Jibby's video in post 34. Most wheels are falling off. That's a loose lug nut problem most likely from

Few reasons why a tire might fly off a car.. I've seen them all...Comment
