The fun starts tomorrow.... heading to South Beach for a few days before leaving port on the Allure of the Seas to play some poker, top prize approximated to be $50,000.00; approx. $200,000.00 prize pool.....

Three-day trny if you make it that far, day 1 a or 1 b, day two plays to final six, day three final table with those six....

mods, as I'm too "challanged" to post this thread in two forums on my own, can you copy it over to the poker forum/duplicate it there.....

I know sure as shit I'm gonna need some tips from Biter and Jake Peavy if I make it to day 3.....

poker field for the final is a little over 200 players.... played with 9 of them last night at a cash table, 1-3, typical donk showing turning a $200 buy in into $650 in a little under two hours (had to hit the club with the better half).....

key hands, and in honor of biter, were my 97 spds flopping a flush on a ka2 board, with babe next to me holding ak, and not sucking out.... she shipped em.....

and jj vs pros qq... he limped trying to be cute; I raised everyone else out of the hand, turned a j, after a flop with no paint or aces, guy actually folded river after I put him all in for his last 75 (he had a hundred in the pot already and an over pair to the board, cant believe he didn't think he 1. had the best hand and 2. wasn't pot committed-- ida shipped em).

and my kj hits broadway vs. ak to felt the same babe for another 100,

and, in true sbr form, my a8 beats aj after flopping 8 high, guy called off the last 100 he had with ace high and a jack kicker

no bad beats to report; several said "get it all out of your system" (my luck in winning several hands despite being behind pre flop or even after the flop)....

as for the cruise, wife had a bad night playing slots, her burn rate was higher than my win rate at holdem, so today is an off day (they scheduled me to play day 1b, (1a is today), so today will be on the 15th deck at the pool drinkin' and catching some sun, and maybe a particular unicorn that was givin' my babe the serious eye in the casino last night....

made it two day two, play picks up tomorrow.... avg stack.... was up and took two pretty bad suckouts after first flopping a strt only to get flushed on the riv after he makes a rediculous call on turn (where he picked up his f'n heart draw), and set over set beat on riv.... dude had overpair and spiked two outter on riv after making two dumbass large calls..... those two put me under the avg goin in to day two....
